What Exploded is

Exploded estimates how an object is built from photographs of it, and suggests alternatives. Every estimate is an informed guess made from the outside — materials, manufacturing methods and internal parts are inferred, not measured, and some of them will be wrong.

Don’t rely on it for anything that matters

Exploded is not engineering advice, safety advice, or a repair manual. Don’t use it to decide whether something is safe to open, modify, load, wire, or heat. Anything you plan to act on, verify independently — open the object, read its labels, or ask a qualified person.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. You grant us permission to store them and to send them to our analysis provider so we can produce your report. Upload only photos you have the right to upload, and don’t upload photos of other people without their agreement.

Credits and payment

Each account gets a number of free analyses per month. Beyond that, analyses are paid for with credits bought in packs. One credit is one completed analysis.

Credits do not expire. A credit entitles you to one analysis, not to a specific AI model — which model backs an analysis may change as models and their prices change, and we will point it at the best option we can sustainably provide. If an analysis fails or is declined, the credit is returned automatically and you are not charged for it.

Credits are non-transferable and, being consumable digital goods, are non-refundable once spent. Unspent credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase — email us. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Fair use

Don’t automate requests, resell access, or attempt to work around the free-tier limits. We may suspend an account that does, and will refund any unspent credits on it.

No warranty

Exploded is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Driftline Labs is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or reliance on its output.
